Ronald was introduced to art by noted artist Richard Seimens who advanced him in drawing and painting in the realist tradition, later Ronald studied at the 'McNeil Academy of Realist Artists', then at the 'Gregory Smith School of Painters' in Victoria.  Great masters of painting such as Chardin, Vermeer and Rembrandt have greatly influenced his work. He paints a variety of subject matter, but his enduring passion is for 'still life'. Ronald exhibits regularly in premier galleries throughout Australia, has won numerous awards, and has taught art both in Australia as well as overseas.  His paintings hang in collections world-wide.
