BILL BUTER

Born in Holland 1941, Bill migrated to Australia in 1950. Returned to Holland to study art from 1955 to 1960, in this period he won first prize arranged by the French Academy of Arts.

His paintings emphasize his passion for the scale of Australian space and the special quality of the Australian light on the landscape and its people and is unique in his style.

Bill has enjoyed numerous successful One-Man  exhibitions as well as sharing in "invitation only" shows throughout Australia along with other notable Australian artists.

He is represented in many private and corporate collections both in Australia and overseas.
