DAVID  SUMNER  GALLERY

Established in 1972 in Adelaide, South Australia, the Gallery became one of the city's most successful Fine Art Galleries having solo exhibitions monthly of artists such as Lloyd Rees, Charles Blackman, Clarice Beckett, James Gleeson, George Lawrence, Maxwell Wilks, Ivars Jansons, just to name a few.

The current Gallery is situated at 359 Greenhill Road, Toorak Gardens, South Australia, only 5 minutes from the city centre and has ample parking at the door.

The Gallery continues to present exhibitions by Australian artists of the highest professional level, both in the traditional genre, impressionism, surrealism and abstract contemporary;  as well as offering a service of encouragement to emerging artists.

David Sumner, Phillip Levi, together with David Vinall,have maintained a keen interest in the art scene both in Adelaide and interstate, and the Gallery continues showing its high standard of works and maintaining popularity.

In 2009 Susan Major became the new Gallery Director and will continue to maintain the high standards of exibited works and professional service.
